Why Web Standards?
Protection Plus web pages are authored with markup conforming to W3C recommendations including XHTML 1.0 Transitional and Cascading Style Sheets so that our site is accessible to all browsers and internet devices.
As a result, Protection Plus displays properly in all standards compliant browsers while the content of Protection Plus is available to any Internet device, from Netscape 1.0 to PDA's and web phones.
Utilizing web standards provides major advantages over developing work arounds for each browser:
- Web pages have smaller file sizes and therefore download much faster.
- Websites are more accessible to people with disabilities.
- Website content is able to be rendered on any browser.
- Websites can be made portable (viewed on PDA's and Web Enabled Phones)
